The Dangers of Steroid Cream Addiction in the News

I was glad to see another Daily Mail article featuring TSW today.

A lot of people in the TSW community will know Jake And Libby and their amazing story of Jake's full recovery from dependence on steroid creams. It's a great reminder that it is possible to heal from this condition and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you so much Libby and Jake for all that you do in raising awareness!

Hello Louise.
I have stumbled upon your blog today after searching online about weeping skin. I have taken some time to read quite a few old posts.
I have had skin trouble my whole life.
I have used TS ointments a lot. I stopped during pregnancy years ago but still have so many of the symptoms you have listed and discussed.
I think I may be in withdrawal!
I have weeping eczema even on my scalp.
I have also developed a dairy allergy. Not fun to adjust diet there. I have learned that I definitely do not want to put Vaseline type products on my skin. They are harmful. My favorite mild lotion is Vanicream. It never burns.
I am also wondering if it may be Candida related like a skin yeast infection.
Oh the itchy dry cracked spots on my hands especially drive me crazy. I am 36 and my wrinkly hands look like I'm 70.

Please consider joining the ITSAN forum. I think it would help you a lot. There is also a thread on the forum about candida and what helps.
